ALBAKRI LLC is a boutique Singapore law firm established on 1 March 2019 and specialising in a wide array of both litigious and non-litigious matters. Prior to establishing ALBAKRI LLC, Mr. Muslim Albakri spent his early years learning his trade in commercial and criminal litigation in one of the “Big 4” law firms in Singapore. He subsequently moved to a mid-sized boutique commercial litigation law practice where he remained in a middle-management role for a further couple of years. Our expertise covers the following areas: • Civil and commercial litigation, such as private disputes involving both individuals and corporations arising out of contract, tort, or otherwise. • Criminal litigation, including representation in criminal proceedings involving a wide variety of offences from strict liability / regulatory offences to serious crimes, challenging the seizure of property by authorities, and conducting private prosecution. • Conducting internal company investigations and advising on potential criminal liability and disclosure obligations under Singapore law. • Corporate commercial advisory and practice, including the drafting and reviewing of corporate agreements and documents. • Family and Matrimonial law, including matters pertaining to divorce, custody, maintenance, and other such ancillary issues. • Wills and Probate, including the drafting and advising of wills, as well as the administration of probate. • General solicitor work such as preparing and advising on lasting powers of attorney and deed polls and certifying true copies of documents.
