Founded in 2016, Ascending Hope Community Services - an Institution of a Public Character (IPC) , began with a focus on addressing problem gambling issues. Over the years, we have evolved into a comprehensive social service organisation dedicated to serving the needy and underprivileged in Singapore. Our mission is to empower individuals through various initiatives, ensuring that no one is left behind. By inspiring others to champion compassion within our society, we strive to create lasting positive change. Every initiative at Ascending Hope reflects our commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive society. With the focus on community connections, direct assistance, and sustained support, we work to uplift individuals and families facing challenges. Discover our services, the lives we touch, and the impact we’re making every day. Food for Hope is a programme dedicated to distribution of food and necessity items to the elderly and needy families. Our mission is to enliven lives with warmth and care to those we serve. Our distribution work is supported by volunteers who adopt a ‘chat and check’ approach to actively engage in conversations during deliveries. These visits create valuable interactions to convey care and assurance. Our donors and sponsors donate cash, meals and provisions to enable us to create meaningful connections to bring hope to individuals and families facing challenging circumstances. HOPELINE is a helpline service, accessible via WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and Telegram, to assist gamblers and their families with services and support to help rebuild lives and break free from the burdens of financial distress and gambling addiction. This service helps individuals who may feel alone or overwhelmed and to encourage them to make the first step towards recovery.
