Bamboo Green Consulting (or Bamboo Green) is a firm that aims to help our clients, typically, technology startups to scale and grow from series A to D. During this critical period, these startups face tremendous challenges, which we consider to be in three main areas: Figuring out what the market actually wants and how to deliver it while resources are scarce. Sticking to the right revenue model to profitably market offering in (1) while facing increasing fixed costs due to salaries and infrastructure. Growing the right team and culture to adapt as (1) or (2) changes when the original founders are not necessarily management trained. Unfortunately, very few professionals, marketing gurus or tech geeks are given formal training nor instructions on how to address these entrepreneurial challenges, mainly because they are cross-disciplinary, involving knowledge of business, psychology and technology. The inherent uncertainties that the market presents makes it even more difficult, since decisions made are subject to constant changes from the environment.
