ISO/IEC 27001 standard is designed to function as a framework for an organization’s information security management system (ISMS) and currently one of the fastest growing information security standards in the world, with the number of certifications growing each year. In this digital era, more companies see the importance of certifying to ISMS standards as it covers all policies and processes relevant to how data is controlled and used, enables organisations to take into account their legal and regulatory requirements.
