MDC capitalizes on 2 interconnected industry-specific problems: Renewable Energy (RE) RE projects are faced with chronic intermittency issues. Projects often generate power when the grid is overburdened, and power simply goes to waste. Data Centers/Crypto Mining Data Centers are constantly searching for cheaper power in order to compete. As efficiency gains from hardware slow, access to cheap power becomes the key ROI generating input. MDC looks to deploy its modular solutions in the Asian RE space to address these realities. In addition to profitably mining BTC and other PoW cryptos across a broad value range, MDC will alleviate mining centralization and accelerate network adoption, while supporting sustainable economic development. MDC achieves these 3 important objectives in the following manner: 1. Super Low Power Costs: MDC is able to source electricity as low as 2 cents/kWh, allowing it (as one example) to profitability mine BTC at price levels below $3,000, when others are shutting down; 2. Alleviate Mining Centralization/Accelerate Adoption: MDC moves resources from concentrated areas in North Asia and redistributes them throughout the region. In addition to mining for its own account, MDC will make its services available to 3rd party miners. To encourage network adoption MDC will airdrop a portion of its mining rewards to communities deemed most impactful, moving the networks’ closer to the vision found in the BTC whitepaper; 3. Sustainable Development: MDC is 100% powered by RE sources in developing regions in Southeast Asia, sharply reducing the overall environmental impact of mining. Living standards in the region are also raised by enabling the operation of electricity generation facilities in areas where power grids are severely constrained.
