Sindicatum Sustainable Resources Group was founded in the United Kingdom in 2005. We established businesses in China (2006), India (2007), South East Asia (2007) and in the United States (2007) and moved our headquarters to Singapore in 2009 to be closer to our assets, most of which are in Asia. In 2011, Sindicatum Sustainable Resources replaced our previous trading name (Sindicatum Carbon Capital) because it more accurately describes what we do. We finance and operate clean energy projects worldwide and produce sustainable resources from the utilization of natural resources and waste. Our long-term strategy is to create value from the mitigation of climate change and promotion of sustainable development through the beneficial utilization of natural resources and waste products. The sustainable resources we aim to create include, on a portfolio basis, clean energy and sustainable commodities such as bio-fuels and products manufactured from natural resources and agricultural waste, as well as environmental commodities. Our investors include three leading US university endowments, five prominent US charitable foundations and global financial institutions representing the commodity, banking, insurance and alternative investment sectors.
