Guarding B2B Integrity: The Grid’s Policies Ensure Fair Use

As The Grid continues to grow as Southeast Asia’s trusted B2B sales intelligence platform, it remains steadfast in upholding platform integrity by taking a firm stance against spam and abuse.

The company has reiterated its commitment to a spam-free ecosystem. According to its Terms of Use, The Grid prohibits any unauthorized, automated, or mass email activity that disrupts the platform’s intended use for legitimate business discovery and outreach.

To ensure a high standard of user authenticity, The Grid requires all new accounts to register using a verified email and complete a verification process upon sign-up. Accounts using non-business or suspicious credentials are subject to manual review and removal.

Rate-limiting protocols are also strictly enforced to protect against misuse. Users are capped with limited daily actions to prevent abuse.

Excessive usage beyond these thresholds leads to automatic, temporary suspensions and is logged for further analysis.

Technical Lead Kenneth Goh shares, “Our platform was built to empower genuine business connections. Every safeguard we put in place, from rate limits to email verification, is to protect the ecosystem. We understand this is not 100% and welcome any suggestions to improve the system.”

The Grid performs daily integrity checks to detect and deactivate non-legitimate users and uses access throttling to safeguard data visibility. Anti-bots measures are also in place. These are designed not only to prevent abuse but also to ensure that verified users enjoy a consistent and secure experience.
