The A*STAR Infectious Diseases (ID) Labs was established in 2021 to consolidate multi-disciplinary capabilities around infectious diseases research, with a focus on enhancing preparedness and filling gaps learned from COVID-19. Led by Professor Lisa Ng, the ID Labs aim to be a leading institution in this field.

A*STAR's Institute of Bioengineering and Bioimaging (IBB) conducts interdisciplinary research at the intersection of biology, chemistry, engineering, artificial intelligence, and medicine.
