Founded in 1984 and formerly known as Nanyang Technological Institute Chinese Society, the society was renamed as Nanyang Technological University Chinese Society (NTUCS) in 1999. With a history of 32 years, NTUCS has developed into one of the largest clubs in NTU, with 8 supporting groups and 7 cultural groups, over 600 members, and several thousands of alumni. Nantong University (simplified Chinese: 南通大学; traditional Chinese: 南通大學; pinyin: Nántōng Dàxué), colloquially known in Chinese as Tong da (通大, Tōngdà), was established in 1912. The university is located in Nantong, Jiangsu province, China. It occupies 4000 acres and have 800 thousand square meters used for school buildings. Nantong is comprehensive university constructed by Jiangsu Provincial Government and the state Ministry of Transport. It is composed of three parts, Nantong Medical College, Nantong Engineering College and Nantong Normal College and has four campuses: the new campus, Qixiu campus, Zhongxiu campus and Qidong campus. The enrollment is nearly 34 thousand full-time students, among whom 1550 are graduates and 300 are oversea students. The university has 84 undergraduate programs based on nine major disciplines, which are literature, science, engineering, medical science, education, economics, law, history and management.

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Lifeguard Corps was first founded in 1986. Since then, NTU Lifeguard Crops has been actively promoting lifesaving and aquatic safety awareness through its activities. Lifesaving activities such as: Lifesaving 1, 2, 3, Bronze Medallion and Standard Resuscitation (CPR) courses are offered biannually with the objective if imparting lifesaving and resuscitation knowledge to NTU/NIE undergraduates and staff. Furthermore, NTU Lifeguard Corps competes in local and international Lifesaving Competition such as the National Lifesaving Championships. NTU Lifeguard Corps also provide certified lifeguards to ensure aquatic safety for NTU water-based events. These events include water-based orientation events, and Surf and Sweat. Swimfest is a popular annual flagship swimming event organized by NTU Lifeguard Corps. It is the main swimming event in the University's sport calendar with at least 250 participants attending each year! This event promotes benefits of safe water sport participation and swimming for a healthy lifestyle. It also creates a wonderful opportunity for swimming enthusiasts to gather and challenge their limit. We also hold an annual 2D1N trip to Kusu Island for our members to volunteer and experience lifeguarding in an open water setting. We are volunteering our services under the permission of Singapore Lifeguard Corps (SLGC) to provide basic lifeguarding services during the peak period of the Annual Kusu Island pilgrimage.

Since 2005, Business Solutions has been dedicated to promoting the business case culture at Nanyang Business School (NBS) and representing Singapore in international case competitions. We train members in analyzing and solving real-world business problems, preparing them for participation in local and global competitions. Our club has achieved impressive results in international events, including podium finishes at the Belgrade Business International Case Competition and Heavener International Case Competition. We also organize both national and international case competitions, including the flagship Asian Business Case Competition (ABCC) and the Singapore Business Case Competition (SBCC). The Multi-platform Game Innovation Centre (MAGIC) aims to establish and strengthen Singapore's position as the leading hub in Asia for research, innovation, commercialization, application, and impact of digital games. By integrating talents, skills, technologies, and resources, MAGIC will redefine gameplay and facilitate solution innovation, providing a platform for individuals and businesses to create and publish high-quality games, as well as develop cutting-edge game tools and services. Through its four platforms - Research and Development, Education, Innovation, and Commercialization - MAGIC will provide a comprehensive ecosystem for the game sector, supporting the creation, development, and commercialization of digital games for all platforms. The centre will also offer courses, consultancies, and conferences to promote scholarly discourse and awareness of locally-developed digital games.

The College of Engineering (CoE) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) is a globally renowned institution for engineering and technology education, ranked 4th in the world by QS. Tax Advisory Club (TAC) started in 2006 as a non-profit student body that strives to increase the NBS community’s exposure to the tax discipline. With more than 300 members, the committee operates with the mission to promote the learning and sharing of tax knowledge, raise the level of professional competency, and increase the vibrancy of the Nanyang Business School (NBS) tax community. Thus, TAC brings about greater awareness on tax and advisory services among students and is the point of contact for students as well as the Big 4 accounting firms and professional bodies that are reaching out to the NBS students. Under the guidance of our club’s advisor Professor Jow Lee Ying and strong support from the NBS Undergraduate Programme Office (UPO), TAC has organised various events in the past. These include corporate visits to the Big 4 accounting firms, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), our annual tax filing workshop conducted for all NTU clubs, the Tax Appreciation Workshop for TAC members, and the annual National Tax Competition (NTC).

The NTU International Summer School started in 2012. The Programme is open to all NTU students in their year, especially those with an interest in Asian studies, China and sustainability issues. This is a five-week summer programme, including a one-week study tour, for selected students from NTU, Chinese partner universities, and international partner universities. Today, the programme is proud to have alumni from Bryn Mawr College (USA), Australian National University (Australia), Stockholm University (Sweden), University of Leeds (UK), Nankai University (China) and Tianjin University (China), and of course, NTU (Singapore). All alumni would have read courses co-taught by NTU faculty and faculty from partner universities, and taken enrichment courses in Chinese culture such as Chinese calligraphy, wushu, Chinese paper knotting, Chinese cooking, etc .

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine is a partnership between Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) and Imperial College London (Imperial) that aims to train doctors who prioritize patient-centered care through innovative medical education and cutting-edge research. Founded in 1928 as Taihoku Imperial University, our university has gone through a series of transformations to “National Taiwan University” named in 1945. Founded in 2007, NAAT is a student run academic club in Nanyang Technological University (NTU) under Nanyang Business School (NBS), specialising in providing financial advisory and assurance services to other student organisations within NTU. NAAT has collaborated with the Student Affairs Office (SAO) in the audit of over 80 student organisations. NAAT also hosts events to provide opportunities for greater knowledge of financial advisory through workshops, corporate visits, talks, and competitions. Established in 2005, the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) offers undergraduate BSc (Hons) programs and postgraduate programs in three core areas: Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. With over 100 faculty members, 250 full-time research staff, and 25 administrative staff, SPMS serves over 2000 undergraduate students and over 350 graduate students.

A joint corporate laboratory has been established between Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore, Surbana Jurong, and the National Research Foundation (NRF) to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for industrial and urban challenges. The $61 million lab will focus on researching underground storage systems, sustainable indoor solutions for buildings, and digital technologies to enhance productivity in the built environment. Located at NTU, the lab will leverage the university's engineering and sustainability expertise and Surbana Jurong's experience in providing urban and infrastructure solutions. The lab's key objectives are to translate research findings into practical and viable solutions focused on three themes: digitalization, green and sustainable urban solutions, and the future of industries and productivity. The lab will initially explore underground storage spaces for liquefied natural gas (LNG) and develop 'Cold Energy Capture' and 'Cold Energy Storage' technologies. At NTU Cat Management Network, we prioritize the well-being and safety of community cats on campus. Our mission is to provide a nurturing environment, access to food and water, and to maintain a manageable cat population through trap-neuter-return programs. We also aim to educate the campus community on cat care and behavior, as well as rescue injured or sick cats. With four feeding clusters led by dedicated coordinators, we strive to ensure that every feline on campus leads a happy and fulfilling life.

FRESH is a national research platform established under the Singapore Food Story R&D agenda, providing expert counsel and food safety research services to public and private organizations aiming to introduce innovative foods to Singapore. By leveraging our knowledge in food toxicology and risk assessment science, we guarantee the safe consumption of novel foods, including those with no prior history of safe consumption.

The S. Satellite Research Centre (SaRC) is the birthplace of Singapore Designed Satellite. The satellite program was started in 1996. XSAT is the 1st satellite designed and built in NTU, and is launched in April 2011. Our company provides high-quality metabolic profiling data and expert analyses to a broad range of customers from biological, medical, and environmental settings in Singapore and beyond. We use cutting-edge techniques such as liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC/MS) and NMR spectroscopy to deliver state-of-the-art metabolic profiling services. Our goal is to become an internationally respected unit for metabolic profiling, collaborating with academic and industrial partners in Singapore and beyond to solve problems in medicine, biology, and environmental sciences. We aim to attract funding through research grants, collaborations, and fee-for-service operations, and become self-funding by 2020.

The WKWSCI Volunteer Programme, or WeeVolunteer, is a social work main committee that aims to benefit both local and overseas communities. Undergraduates from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) form the committee, which was established in 2018 as an ad hoc committee under the Communication and Information Club, the official student club representing the student body of WKWSCI. The Executive Committee heads the committee and is responsible for directing and spearheading new initiatives, while the 17-member Main Committee plans, executes, and oversees the volunteer activities.

Indeed, the global population continues to grow, and as many countries confront an ageing population, technological solutions will become increasingly important. On the other hand, technological change also brings forth formidable challenges to society and the environment. It disrupts established socio-political and economic patterns, and impacts human relationships and value. Against this background, an NTU Institute of Science and Technology for Humanity (NISTH) has been established at NTU. The institute seeks to establish NTU and Singapore as a centre of excellence in the Science, Technology and Society arena. The Asian School of the Environment (ASE) at NTU is an interdisciplinary school that aims to become a world leader in environmental research focused on Asian environmental challenges. The ASE integrates various fields such as earth and environmental life science, ecology, engineering and technology, human ecology, humanities, and social sciences to address key issues of the environment and sustainability. The school offers PhD, BSc degrees in Environmental Earth Systems Science, BSc in Environmental Earth Systems Science and Public Policy and Global Affairs, and a minor in Environmental Sustainability for all NTU students.
